A Poem for Me, A Poem for You

by | Poetry

I sit here sinking

Bells ringing in through balcony doors

And I comfort and soothe myself

Sinking into blissful peace, tired repose.

All that is on my mind

I release onto the balcony

The winds carry it away

And I am still heavy in my center.

These words they wrap around me

A perfect blanket of adoring care

My sinking is into this moment

Letting go to be fully present here.

It is a poem for me

How this feels, the words that come

It can be a poem for you

If you feel, if you allow the words to enter you.
